HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant / Patient Care Technician to join the Eckerd Living Center in Highlands.

You will support RNs, assist with daily living activities, monitor patients, and help create a safe, compassionate environment for residents. This role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and attention to detail as you handle vital signs, mobility support, and infection-control practices, contributing to our mission to improve lives every day.

Qualifications

• CNA certification must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date.
• Work Experience in lieu of Degree, or High School Graduate / GED must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsabilités

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin care, and use of supportive devices.
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be a vital part of our collaborative nursing team, supporting Registered Nurses in providing hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. You’ll assist with daily needs such as vital signs, mobility, and personal care, while helping RNs monitor conditions and carry out care plans. Your attention, empathy, and teamwork help restore comfort and dignity for every patient you serve and make our mission to improve lives a reality each day.

Your responsibilities will include:
