Job summary

Highlands-Cashiers Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support our nursing team. You will assist RNs with vital signs, mobility, personal care, and help create a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

No travel required. You will work with a dedicated team committed to compassionate care and patient comfort, with opportunities for benefits and growth.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Basic Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas clean, organized and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families and the care team to support safety and quality.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be a vital part of our collaborative nursing team, supporting Registered Nurses in providing hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. • Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
