Job summary

Gateway Rehabilitation Center in Center Township, PA is seeking a full-time Patient Care Technician to support the REST program. You will monitor medication self-administration and therapeutic treatments, and document observations to ensure high-quality care.

You will work under supervision as part of a compassionate healthcare team, participate in trainings, and help coordinate with clinical staff. A PA background check and clearances are required; a $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant/CNA/EMT experience preferred.
• Ability to monitor and document medication self-administration.

Responsibilities

• Completes medication self-administration training and monitoring.
• Monitors patient medication self-administration and therapeutic treatments.
• Ensures accurate and complete medication documentation.
• Maintains safety by following policies and procedures for medication practices.
• Documents observations, patient care, and interactions in progress notes.
• Coordinates with clinical and medical staff as needed.
• Assists with admissions, intake paperwork, and transportation as required.
• Attends mandatory Gateway Rehab Center trainings.
