Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have one or more of the following certifications.
• Graduate of Sentara Care Partner Certification Program; CNA; NCMA; NCPCT; US Navy Hospital Corps School; EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic; clinical program with RN/LPN/RT/PT or PCT experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Change, bathe, and ambulate patients.
• Draw blood and provide daily patient care.
• Provide Foley catheter care.
• Work under direct supervision of a nurse; contribute to a collaborative care environment.
