Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of Sentara Care Partner Certification Program.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) certification.
• National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT) certification.
• Completion of US Navy Hospital Corps School or equivalent.
• Emergency Services including EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic training.
• Currently enrolled in a clinical program or recent experience as PCT/Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes under supervision.
• Change, bathe, and ambulate patients as needed.
• Draw blood and provide Foley catheter care.
• Meet patient needs while under direct supervision of a nurse.
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver quality patient care.
