Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support admission and discharge processes, assist with bathing, ambulating, and daily patient care under nurse supervision. Key duties include taking vitals, performing blood draws, Foley care, and responding to patient needs in a fast-paced team environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, and may have CNA/NCMA/NCPCT certification or related training.

Qualificações

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One or more of the listed certifications is required.
  • Direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Take vitals and monitor patient status.
  • Perform blood draws and basic nursing tasks under supervision.
  • Assist with admission, discharge, and daily care needs.
  • Assist with bathing, ambulating, Foley care, and comfort measures.
  • Respond to patient needs and coordinate with nursing team.
