Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA/MA/AEMT licensure or certification preferred.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the professional registered nurse.
• Performs patient care tasks under the RN, including vital signs and phlebotomy.
• Assists with electrode placement and venous compression devices.
• Maintains patient rooms and retrieves equipment and supplies.
• Ensures a clean, clutter-free environment and quiet surroundings.
• Supports patient/family communication and discharge planning.
• Promotes safety during mobility and safety rounds.
• Transports non-monitored patients.
• Assists RN with monitored or intubated transports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
