Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking experienced patient care technicians to join our Staffing Resource Office Float Team. This PRN role involves floating to multiple hospitals within Region 3, including Bartow Regional Medical Center, South Florida Baptist Hospital, and Winter Haven Hospital.

The position requires BLS certification and 6 months acute care experience or 1 year of SNF experience, or completion of Nursing Fundamentals, or EMT/Paramedic licenses for ER only.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
• Minimum 6 months acute care experience or 1 year Skilled Nursing Facility experience; or completion of Nursing Fundamentals from a Nursing Program; or EMT certification / Paramedic license for ER only.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN.
• Float to multiple hospitals/units within Region 3 (Bartow Regional Medical Center, South Florida Baptist Hospital, Winter Haven Hospital).
• PRN requires 4 shifts in a 6-week schedule, including 2 weekend shifts; holiday commitment as described.

BayCare is seeking experienced patient care technicians to join our staffing resource office float team. Must be comfortable floating to multiple hospitals/units in region 3 which includes the following facilities: Bartow Regional Medical Center, South Florida Baptist Hospital and Winter Haven Hospital.

PRN requires 4 shifts in 6-week schedule to include 2 weekend shifts. Holiday commitment 1 summer and 1 winter holiday and 1 hard to fill staffing shift.

Required

Minimum Qualifications:

Certification includes Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.

• 1 year - Hospital in related field.
