Qualifications

• High school student or graduate or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), preferred
• One year of experience is preferred
• AHA BLS certification, required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
• Possess the ability to follow established cleaning methods in performing daily tasks.
• Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures
• Must be able to keep all equipment in good working condition and ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Assists with direct patient care and patient flow through departments.
• Answers phones and troubleshoots for nurses.
• Charts building and documentation tasks.
• Performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature as needed.
• Authorized to access storage areas for performing patient care duties within scope of practice.
