Requires TX RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS within 60 days, and at least 2 years of critical care experience.

Under the direct supervision of the Pre-Op/PACU Clinical Supervisor, the Registered Nurse – Pre-Op/PACU provides comprehensive nursing care to ensure that patient care services are delivered in accordance with the hospital’s mission, vision, and goals. The RN is responsible for preoperative preparation, post-anesthesia recovery, and the continuity of care throughout the perioperative process. This role focuses on ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes by delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborating closely with the surgical team. The RN is responsible for upholding professional standards and compliance with regulatory guidelines, including those set by the state board of nursing, ASPAN, ANA, TXBON, and Joint Commission.
