Job summary

North Central Surgical Center in Dallas, TX seeks an EMT/Patient Care Tech to join the Emergency Department team. You will assist patients with daily living activities and provide basic nursing assistant care under clinical supervision.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, clean environment and supporting staff, with access to storage areas for patient care duties. Requirements include ED experience (preferred), HS diploma, CPR, and preferred CNA credential.

Qualifications

• One year Emergency Department experience preferred.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to follow cleaning methods and maintain equipment.

We are currently seeking an EMT/Patient Care Tech to join our Emergency Department team.

Assist patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing assistant care to our Emergency Department patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Director. Authorized to access storage areas for the purpose of performing patient care duties within the scope of practice.

Required Skills

• One (1) year Emergency Department experience, preferred.
• High school student or graduate or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), preferred
• Previous clinical experience preferred
• Current certification in CPR
• Possess the ability to follow established cleaning methods in performing daily tasks.
• Must be able to keep all equipment in good working condition.
