Qualifications

• Unit-based recognition for Capillary Blood Glucose Monitoring.
• High school diploma required; one year of college or nursing education or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred with ability to relate to patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Take and record vitals (temperature, pulse, respirations, weight, height).
• Perform phlebotomy.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and assist with daily tasks.
• Respond to patient calls and emergencies; document observations.
