Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, West Virginia, is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for full-time night shifts. You will support nursing staff with vital signs, ADLs, and safe patient handling while maintaining cleanliness and documentation per unit standards.

• Patient Care Technician role or similar experience valued.

Responsabilités

• Performs basic patient care as delegated by an RN, including vitals and input/output recording.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility needs.
• Observes and reports abnormal findings to nursing staff promptly.
• Keeps patient rooms and common areas clean, safe, and stocked.
• Documents care and supports department throughput and education requirements.

How You’ll Contribute

• Performs basic patient care as delegated by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possible blood glucose measurements, and accurate intake/output recording.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, ambulation).
• Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to nursing staff.
• Maintains clean, safe, and well‑stocked patient rooms and common areas.
• Manages the tech desk and supports nursing/physician staff and overall department throughput.
• Documents care and activities per unit standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned; participates in performance improvement and required education.
