Job summary

Singing River Health System Gulfport is seeking a Nurse Technician to support patient care under the supervision of RNs, performing fundamentals of nursing care per plan of care and facility policies. This role requires active enrollment in an NLN nursing program, with duties aligned to semester progression.

Candidates should be able to use MS Outlook/Word, demonstrate strong communication, and deliver compassionate service in a fast-paced hospital setting at Singing River Gulfport Hospital.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in NLN School of Nursing.
• Provide new transcript to HR on completion of each semester.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification; de-escalation training by orientation (90 days).

Responsibilities

• Provide fundamentals of nursing care under RN supervision.
• Follow plan of care and Singing River Health System policies.
• Report to RN, Patient Care Coordinator, or Patient Care Manager.
• Perform duties reflecting semester level and NLN guidelines.
