Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Nurse Technician to provide fundamental nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role follows the plan of care and adheres to hospital policies and NLN guidelines.

Must be enrolled in an NLN Nursing program and progress through Nurse Tech levels I–IV, providing new transcripts after each semester. BCLS certification and de-escalation training are required within orientation, with no prior experience necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an NLN School of Nursing.
• Transcript provided to Human Resources at the end of each semester.
• Nurse Tech I - enrolled in a nursing program; Nurse Tech IV - completed level III.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification; de-escalation training due by 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides fundamentals of nursing care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Performs personal and restorative care per predefined guidelines.
• Assists with patient care management during shifts under RN guidance.
