Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Nurse Technician to provide fundamentals of nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will follow a plan of care and adhere to hospital procedures and policies as part of a patient-care team.

Ideal candidates will be enrolled in or graduated from an NLN School of Nursing with BCLS certification and de-escalation training completed within orientation. Ability to move about the facility and work various shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled or a graduate from an NLN School of Nursing.
• BCLS certification required upon hire or transfer.
• Must complete de-escalation training by end of orientation (90 days).

Responsibilities

• Provide fundamentals of nursing care under the plan of care established by a Registered Nurse.
• Under direct supervision of RN staff, perform duties in accordance with hospital policies.
