Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• CLIA Regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
• PCT Training Program TX CNA, NHA, NAHP, NCCT, THR approved program.
• EMT - Emergency Medical Technician or military medical training equivalent.
• Nursing student with fundamentals or foreign nurse degree program preferred.
• 1 year of applicable experience in lieu of active certification.
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and assistance per care plan and patient/family preferences.
• Collects and reports patient data; supports admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Performs technical procedures safely and documents care accurately.
• Collaborates with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations and needs.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and meets patient and visitor needs.
• Demonstrates teamwork, flexibility, and effective communication across disciplines.
• Participates in process improvement and safety initiatives.
