East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA is seeking a Patient Care Technician for a full-time night shift. The role supports RNs and LPNs by assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vitals, and ensuring a safe patient environment.

You will assist with meals, mobility, specimen collection, and accurate documentation, while maintaining infection control and patient confidentiality. CNA preferred; BCLS within 90 days. Competitive pay and benefits.

Qualificações

• Experience in acute care or current nursing program preferred.
• Basic knowledge of patient care practices and equipment.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and safety protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Assist nursing staff with basic patient care and maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Collect and record vital signs, intake/output, and other data for RN/LPN review.
• Support meals, bathing, grooming, mobility, and urinary catheter care.
• Assist with patient positioning and use of mobility aids.
• Collect samples and monitor blood glucose per protocol and report results.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the care team.
• Adhere to infection control practices and PPE requirements.
• Participate in performance improvement and safety initiatives.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with all policies.
