Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center in Naples, FL seeks a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff by delivering delegated basic patient care and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Candidates should have 0–2 years in acute care or be enrolled in a Nursing program, with BCLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire required
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant preferred or CPCT - Certified Patient Care Technician preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collects patient data and reports findings to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Supports patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Performs basic patient care tasks per delegation.
• Maintains infection control and PPE usage.
• Communicates effectively with the care team and adheres to safety protocols.
