Job summary

UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. This 90% FTE role includes a 7:00am-7:30pm schedule with rotating weekends and holidays, providing patient care under supervision, and supporting daily unit activities.

Active CNA status in the Illinois Registry, CPR certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent are required or preferred as noted. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits to eligible staff.

Job description

Work Schedule:

• 90% FTE, full-time
• 7:00am-7:30pm every other weekend & every other holiday rotation
• You will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Licenses & Certifications

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of fundamentals of nursing course and be registered on the Illinois Department of Health Registry or a nurse who has completed RN or LPN Training in another country and completion of EKG. Required
• Bi-Annual CPR designation by recommended renewal date. Required
