Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Illinois operations. You will support patient care delivery and coordinate with care teams in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Responsibilities emphasize reliable computer use for charting, basic clinical tasks, and adherence to safety and quality standards. A strong patient-centered approach is required, with flexibility for day shifts at our Rockford area clinics.

Job description

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, you will work at UW Health N Alpine Clinic 1253 N Alpine St.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential


• Overtime

Qualifications

• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• Computer experience. Required


• Previous patient care experience in a medical facility. Preferred


• At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required


• Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician. Preferred
