Job summary

Cone Health is seeking a Nursing Technician Plus 3 to support the Registered Nurse by observing and documenting patient conditions and assisting with daily tasks under close supervision. This role emphasizes patient care, mobility assistance, safety, and collaboration within the care team to help execute the plan of care while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months related experience, and BLS/CPR plus Nurse Aide

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Nurse Aide Certification may be required.
• Experience in patient care a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients with daily living tasks including meals and personal care.
• Assists with progressive mobility and daily activities to support recovery.
• Admits, transfers, and discharges patients as per plan of care.
• Monitors and documents patient conditions and nutritional/hydration status.
• Maintains unit inventory and adheres to safety protocols.
• Ensures fall risk patients have proper armbands and signage for safety.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
