Job summary

Cone Health is seeking a Nursing Technician Plus 3 to support Registered Nurses by observing and documenting patient conditions under close supervision. The role emphasizes patient assistance with daily living tasks and progressive mobility to support recovery.

Responsibilities include aiding with meals, personal care, admissions/discharges, and maintaining safety standards. Requires a high school diploma, 6 months of related experience, and current BLS and Nurse Aide certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 6 months of related healthcare experience is required.
• BLS (CPR) certification through American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider is required.
• Nurse Aide Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living tasks, including meals and personal care.
• Support progressive mobility and patient positioning under supervision.
• Admit, transfer and discharge patients as appropriate per the plan of care.
• Assist with patient elimination needs and ostomy care as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe environment and monitor safety measures (fall risk armbands, signage).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
