Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Nursing Assistant at Columbia Saint Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee to support the MedSurg department. You will aid with patient entry and exit, help with activities of daily living, and report any changes to nursing staff.

What minimum qualifications you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Additional certs may be required by specific job locations.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.


• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
