Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of direct patient care experience or CNA enrollment with clinical rotations.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned patient care and observation duties under RN/LPN direction.
• Communicates with patients, families and care team.
• Maintains hospital/unit competencies.
• Promotes a healing environment to support patient and staff satisfaction.
• Assists in emergencies as directed by RN/LPN.
• Operates equipment and records intake/output.
• Transports patients and specimens as needed.
• Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge.
