Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Patient Care Technician to join our Jersey care team. You will provide patient care tailored to each patient’s age and needs, and collaborate with nurses and therapists to support safe and effective outcomes.

You will participate in interdisciplinary care planning from admission through discharge, ensuring smooth transitions. A PCT Apprenticeship may be available, with a comprehensive benefits package included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a CNA/MA/PCT program or equivalent medical background.
• Ability to learn quickly and work well in a care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care tailored to age and needs.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and the health care team.
• Support care planning from admission to discharge for safe transitions.
• Participate in unit/department quality improvement activities.
