The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Ocala

Located in the Horse Capital of the World, home to the World Equestrian Center, with outdoor activities, vibrant downtown, parks, and springs.

The role you’ll contribute:

Assist patients with activities of daily living, perform patient care tasks, and maintain a safe and clean environment. Complete tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida State Board of Nursing.

• Perform patient care tasks safely and competently, adhering to standards of care.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement PCT care based on individual patient needs.
• Coordinate care with RN and interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
• Recognize changes in patient status and report immediately.
• Maintain complete and timely documentation reflecting care provided.

Qualifications

The expertise and experience needed:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or proof of competency upon hire
• Experience in an acute care setting
• Florida Department of Health (DOH) License required
