Job summary

Atlantic Health seeks a compassionate CNA to assist doctors and nursing staff in meeting patients’ basic needs. You will support daily activities, monitor vitals, and document findings, helping maintain a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include bathing, feeding, dressing, mobility assistance, and post-mortem care, with opportunities to perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and glucose monitoring as needed. You will report changes to the RN and help manage supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressing
• Obtains and records vital signs, weights, and heights
• Assists patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities
• Performs post mortem care
• Performs EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring
• Observes and reports changes in patients' condition to the RN
• Maintains phlebotomy equipment and inventory
• Other related duties as assigned.
