Virtua Health seeks a compassionate patient care assistant to support daily living activities and care planning under RN/LPN supervision. You will work with a caring team to help patients stay comfortable and safe while documenting care and communicating needs.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, monitoring vital signs, and performing basic tests as required. A strong value for teamwork and patient education is essential.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PCT, CNA, or RN fundamentals course preferred with direct patient care exposure.
• Strong communication and empathy for patients and families.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting and mobility.
• Follow standard precautions, isolation protocols, and safe patient practices.
• Perform vital signs, point‑of‑care testing, bladder scanning and Foley care as directed.
• May perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN/LPN and respond appropriately.
• Reinforce patient and family education and safety, participate in satisfaction initiatives.
• Assist in orientation of new hires.
