Job summary

Rochester Regional Health's Unity Hospital seeks a Technician I to provide direct or indirect patient care under licensed nurse supervision, following treatment plans and maintaining a safe, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• Associates degree or CNA certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning of equipment, stocks supplies and prepares rooms.
• Provides safe care for nutrition, skin, elimination and hygiene needs.
• Performs clinical duties under RN supervision including vitals and EKG.
• Collects and disposes of specimens as directed.
• Maintains clear, compassionate communication and professionalism.
• Assists with ambulation, transfers and use of lift devices.
• Responds promptly to patient call lights and requests.
• Follows safety initiatives and participates in post mortem care as required.
