Job summary

Rochester Regional Health seeks a Patient Care Technician I for the Unity Hospital General Medicine 4300 unit. You will provide direct and indirect patient care under licensed nurses, contributing to safe patient care and efficient unit operations.

You will assist with ADLs, assessments, and coordination of care, with PD competency training offered and a focus on compassionate bedside care for diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical unit and follow directions from licensed staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and daily unit operations.
• Support medication administration and patient safety protocols.
