Atlantic Health System is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to support clinicians and provide compassionate care. You will assist with vital signs, measurements, and basic tasks in the exam area, and help with mobility, wound care, and routine procedures as needed.

Work alongside a multi-disciplinary team in a hospital or clinic setting, documenting data accurately and reporting changes to the RN. Training and growth opportunities are provided within the Atlantic Health System network.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with care team.
• BLS certification preferred; required within 3 months of hire.
• Completion of Healthcare Provider Course within six months preferred.
• CCMA in PCT program preferred.
• Approximately 6 months of prior healthcare or patient care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with vital signs, weights, and heights.
• Assist mobility: ambulation, transfers, accommodations as needed.
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy and BG monitoring if needed.
• Take patient histories and prepare examination rooms.
• Support minor procedures and wound care as needed.
• Observe and report changes to RN.
• Document patient information and data accurately.
• Maintain phlebotomy equipment and inventory.
