Allegheny Health Network is seeking a patient care role to provide direct patient care and assist with non-direct unit coordination. The incumbent will support basic nursing tasks for patients in stable condition and assist the RN with acutely ill patients, while maintaining medical asepsis and patient privacy.

The position requires accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and adherence to hospital policies.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic mathematics skills are needed.
• Basic computer skills are beneficial for charting.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care activities such as activities of daily living and vital signs as assigned.
• Participates in quality and patient satisfaction initiatives (e.g., bedside shift report, hourly rounding).
• Accurately documents vital signs, I&O, and treatments; reports changes to nursing staff.
• Assists in unit activities such as supply stocking and equipment cleaning.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
