Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist the nurse in providing direct patient care under supervision. You will help with activities of daily living and monitor patients’ vital signs, ensuring safety and comfort throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include documenting observations, assisting with medical procedures, and supporting a clean, organized unit. Requires a high school diploma and state CNA certification; CPR may be preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 6 months experience in direct patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides for care, comfort, and safety of assigned patients under direct supervision of a nurse.
• Assists patients in activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, etc.).
• Uses proper infection control techniques to protect patient and staff.
• Performs delegated nursing care procedures as directed.
• Observes patients and reports changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Supports unit operations and helps maintain clean, stocked patient rooms.
