Jefferson Regional in Kentucky seeks a Patient Care Technician I to assist nurses by delivering direct patient care, maintaining a safe and comforting environment, and protecting patient dignity. The role reports to the nursing staff within the 2CE Med Surg unit, with shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent, shows strong communication and empathy, and can work in a fast-paced team setting.

Job Summary:

The Patient Care Technician I plays a critical role in the healthcare team by providing direct patient care to an assigned group of patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse. They will ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients, providing compassionate and empathetic care while maintain patient dignity and confidentiality. The PCT will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to support patient treatment and recovery.
