Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant.
AHA BLS HCP certification or equivalent is required/licensure.
Minimum qualifications include CNA, Medical Assistant, EMT, Military Corpsman/Medic, Nursing Aide Training, or healthcare experience.
Or completion of foundations/clinical nursing course with one clinical rotation.
Responsibilities
Provide safe and direct care to patients in their assigned unit and monitor conditions.
Maintain safe, clean, stocked environment to facilitate patient care.
Record patient information, vital signs, intake/output, and other clinical data.
Assist with specimen collection for diagnostics as needed.
Attend mandatory trainings and adhere to policies and procedures.
Ensure patient safety and report concerns to RN or supervisor.
Establish rapport with patients and families; communicate effectively with the health care team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
