Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support bedside care under the supervision of an RN or LPN in an acute care setting.

The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, ensuring a safe care environment, and communicating patient data to the care team. The PCT will collect vital signs, assist with mobility, meals, hygiene, and catheter care as needed, while maintaining confidentiality and following infection control protocols.

Formación

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire required
• CNA certification preferred or CPCT certification preferred (when available)

Responsabilidades

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Record vital signs and other patient data and report to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Support meals, bathing, grooming, linen changes, and basic patient care tasks.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the care team and follow safety protocols.
