Hackensack Meridian Health in Neptune Township, NJ is seeking a Patient Care Technician to deliver direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision. You will support the care team, monitor vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and help ensure patient comfort and safety.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and completion of a CNA/MA/PCT program or equivalent; a PCT Apprenticeship path is also available.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Completion of CNA, MA or PCT program; or HMH PCT Apprenticeship program.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a collaborative team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Monitor and document vital signs and clinical data.
• Assist with patient transfers, mobility and comfort.
• Support RN with care plans and patient safety initiatives.
• Collect specimens (blood, urine) as directed and label correctly.
• Maintain clean and safe patient environment.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to RN promptly.
