Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA is hiring a Patient Care Technician for full-time day shifts. The role provides patient care, monitors vitals, and assists with daily activities under RN supervision.

The successful candidate will have a HS Diploma or equivalent and one of the listed certifications or be enrolled in a clinical program. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are included, with potential shift differentials and other incentives.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required with listed certification options.
• CN A/NCMA/NCPCT or equivalent certification preferred.
• Current student in a clinical program or recent PCT/Nursing Assistant experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Observe and document patients' conditions; report changes to RN.
• Assist with mobility, ambulation, and safe transfers.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKG testing, and urine testing as directed.
• Remove peripheral IVs as trained and permitted; comply with safety protocols.
