Position Details
  • Department: ICE | NRSL Float Pool - Med/Surg
  • Summary of Duties: Schedule: Full Time. Shifts include Days, Nights, Alternating Weekends/Holidays, Occasional Weekends. The PCT performs patient care tasks supporting the nursing team, including patient transport, assistance with activities, documentation, and communication with staff.
  • Qualifications:
    Required: High School Diploma/GED, excellent communication skills, ability to lift 100 lbs., 1 year patient care experience.
    Preferred: Certification as a nursing assistant or military corpsman.
  • Responsibilities: Support patient care under RN supervision, communicate effectively, assist with patient activities, document care, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Physical & Environmental Requirements: Includes constant, frequent, and occasional physical activities, ability to lift and push 100 lbs., inside medical environment, with specific visual and hazard considerations.
