Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Completion of UPMC patient care technician class or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care including assisting with ADLs and procedures.
• Assists with nursing duties and communicates patient status to RN.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness, documents medical records per procedures.
• Performs point-of-care testing and routine vitals, report changes to team.
