Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the First Shift (Full Time) in Ambulatory Services - Lymphoma and Multiple Myeloma. This role collaborates with nurses and therapists, providing essential patient-care support and helping maintain smooth clinic operations.

You will assist with direct patient care, transport patients, and handle supplies while contributing to quality improvement initiatives and a safe, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED and about 1 year of direct patient care experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED and about 3 years in a healthcare setting.
  • High School Diploma or GED and about 3 years of face-to-face customer service experience.
  • Matriculation in a Nursing Program is acceptable.

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is an essential part of the care team, working closely with nurses and therapists to support patients throughout their care journey. Compensation
  • Starting hourly rate: $18.55

Qualifications
  • 1. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time direct patient experience; or
  • 2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in a healthcare setting; or
  • 3. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time face-to-face customer service experience; or
  • 4. Matriculation in a Nursing Program.
