Job Summary and Qualifications

Position Summary

Performs delegated patient care tasks and clerical duties, such as transporting patients, maintaining equipment, assisting with patient care, support with registration, supply management, order entry in Meditech, EKGs, splinting, and phlebotomy.

Essential Functions

• Transport patients
• Maintain equipment cleanliness
• Assist with patient care
• Support patient registration
• Order and stock supplies
• Enter orders in Meditech
• Perform EKGs, splinting, and phlebotomy
• Promote customer satisfaction and service excellence
• Attend work as scheduled, adhere to attendance policies
• Manage POCT operations, including decision-making, troubleshooting, and quality control
• Perform laboratory testing and maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Active National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (Basic or Intermediate) or LNA License
• American Heart Association BCLS certification
• CPI certification within 30 days of hire
