UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Illinois seeks a Patient Care Technician for night shift. You will support nursing staff with patient care tasks, keep rooms clean and orderly, assist patients with daily activities, and report any changes in patient conditions while documenting records accurately.
Require High School Grad or Equiv, 1+ PCT experience preferred, and CPR/BLS plus CPCT/A/CNA/EMT certifications as applicable.

Schedule: 40 hours/week; Nights 7:00pm - 3:30am, w/rotating weekends and holidays Up to a $5,000 sign on bonus for Eligible Applicants Supports nursing staff with patient care tasks. Maintains clean and orderly patient rooms. Aids with movement and placement of patients. Assists patients with personal care and activities of daily living. Reports findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records accurately and timely. Monitors and reports patient conditions. Ensures proper functioning and maintenance of medical equipment. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Follows safety and infection control protocols. Participates in training and development activities. Other duties as assigned.
High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
1+ applicable PCT experience [Preferred] Previous bedside patient care in an acute care unit, unit secretary, monitor technician, or equivalent medical experience [Preferred]
