Job summary

Mount Carmel Dublin is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician (MST) to support patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This role focuses on comfort, safety, and accurate data collection in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

The MST will assist with activities of daily living, obtain vital signs, and perform EKG and phlebotomy as directed. Candidates should have a high school diploma and relevant basic health care training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of EKG and Phlebotomy courses and initial clinical competency upon hire.
• Completion and maintenance of BLS healthcare provider training.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Keep patient rooms stocked, cleaned, and orderly.
• Obtain vital signs (height, weight, glucose) and monitor I&O.
• Perform EKG and phlebotomy as delegated by Staff RN.
• Document patient data accurately and completely.
• Fulfill all other duties as assigned.
