Job summary

University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center Dialysis Unit, Houston, TX, seeks a Certified Hemodialysis Technician with at least 2 years of dialysis experience. The ideal candidate will provide patient care under a registered nurse, participate in the care team, and help maintain a clean, safe environment.

• Works as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to address patient needs.
• Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient mobilization.

Our Dialysis Unit has 55 beds and 230 employees; the Dialysis unit at MD Anderson provides patient focused care through a multidisciplinary team approach. Quality and patient outcomes are at the heart of our practice. The ICU team participates in Evidence Based Practice, unit and hospital-based committees, and local and national conferences.

Ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and Certified Hemodialysis Technician with at least 2 years of Dialysis experience.

Working Hours: The working hours will be Day shift - 10 hrs. per shift , alternating weekends and holidays.

Education

Other Requirements: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
