Job summary

Trinity Health Oakland Hospital is seeking a Patient Support Technician to join the care team in a 12 Hour Day Shift. You will perform basic bedside care, assist with ADLs, and support RN-directed activities while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• 6 months direct patient care experience within past 5 years.
• Completion of a Medical/Surgical clinical rotation or a Patient Care Technician program.
• EMT certification or health unit coordinator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates Relationship-based Care to cultivate therapeutic relationships.
• Provides bedside care and selected procedures under RN supervision.
• Manages ADLs and helps with patient education.
• Maintains patient records and supports unit communication.
• Ensures accurate patient roster and ready beds.
• Participates in committees and promotes patient safety.
