Trinity Health Oakland Hospital seeks a Patient Support Technician to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. The role supports ADLs, vital sign monitoring, and coordination of unit activities, promoting a safe and compassionate care environment.

Candidates should have 6 months of direct patient care experience, completion of a PCT program, and preferably EMT or related certification. Strong teamwork and documentation skills are essential in this fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Completion of a Patient Care Technician program preferred.
• EMT certification or equivalent preferred per job posting.
• Prior health unit coordination experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide bedside patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with ADLs and basic nursing procedures.
• Maintain patient records and accurate rostering/census.
• Coordinate unit communications with physicians and departments.
• Support patient education under RN guidance.
