Job summary

Virtua Health seeks a patient care partner to assist with daily living activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse or LPN. You will support the healthcare team, patients, and families while upholding professional ethics and safety standards.

Responsibilities include basic care tasks, vital signs, phlebotomy and EKGs if trained, and communicating changes to the RN/LPN. You will participate in satisfaction and quality initiatives and support orientation of new hires.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a PCT or CNA program or equivalent.
• Basic patient care skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living under RN/LPN supervision.
• Support the healthcare team, patients, and families with care.
• Perform vital signs, and maintain safety and ethics in practice.
• Communicate changes in patient status to the RN/LPN.
