Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist in individualized patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. You will collaborate with a compassionate team to provide essential clinical and non-clinical support, helping patients achieve their highest level of wellness.

The role requires completion of Mercy's UAP training, BLS within one month of hire, and a 175-hour training program within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, CNA/CPCT or enrolled in a healthcare program
• BLS required within one month of hire; CPCT/BLS training window
• No prior experience required for PCT role
• Physical requirements: ability to lift 50 lb and stand/walk for shifts

Responsibilities

• Assist in individualized patient care under RN/LPN direction
• Work cooperatively with the care team and support staff
• Perform designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks
• Complete Mercy UAP training program as required
